Earlier, I referenced the fact that this car came with an automatic transmission and yellow paint. So how do I know that?
She has a nametag (Technically it’s called a data plate):

That says:
65A 8 29 01T 72 6 6
Broken down:
65A – 1965 Hardtop, Standard Interior, Bucket Seats
8 – Springtime Yellow (65 only)

29 – Palomino Vinyl Interior

01T – June 1, 1965 (Production Date)
72 – San Jose, CA (Production Factory)
6 – 2.80 Rear Axel Diff
6 – Automatic Transmission
The remaining numbers (5R07/C22 88) are a little harder to interpret:
5R – 1965 San Jose
07 – 2-Door Hardtop
C – 289 CID

(She has a 4 barrel carburetor now)
Not totally sure what 22 and 88 mean….
Our takeaway here is that almost nothing about this car is factory original! Yay!
