Pre-Mimosa Things

We decided to get into the garage today and accomplish some long-standing tasks on Emma:

• Finally replaced the V-belt
• Reinstalled the heater switch (IT WORKS!)
• Installed new heater door cables!
• Replaced the firewall > fuel pump hose (so old and so gross)
• New electric choke installed
• Spark plug wire stand-offs and cable-separators replaced

Kind of a super productive day for Emma! We even started her up to test the auto-choke and whether the new fuel hose would leak. All good!

Though somewhere we seem to have a pretty major oil leak. We’ll look into that later.

I forgot to mention that I decided to replace one of the harnesses in the engine bay – goes to the alternator, coil, blower motor, etc. That’s on the way. The one in there is disgusting and has random patches/cable offshoots…

Now to mimosas!
