Ew.
Today I added some degreaser to some water in my mop bucket and mopped part of the garage.
I won't show you the after-water.
You're welcome.
It still got only a fraction of the ick up from the garage floor, but at least the floor won't make my feet disgusting anymore.
Also... got some things:

Such a cool idea! I can now wheel Emma all around the garage! (And give my wife her parking spot back. :)
Getting the car on these is somehow one of the most difficult things I've done in a while.
Jack up back of car (front still on ramps at this point). Insert wheelies. No problem.
Jack up front of car (back of car on wheelies). WHY IS THE WHOLE GODDAMN CAR MOVING??
Oh.
Update: They have wheel locks.
Oh! Also, was grocery shopping on Walmart.com and they served me an ad for this:

That there is a voltage regulator. It makes sure that each device in your car gets the exact right amount of power when it's supposed to.
Emma's current voltage regulator is from 1965, and you can barely see it b/c it's covered in 61 years of gunk.
Anyway, Walmart had it - a legit Ford Motocraft - for a killer price, so I pulled the trigger.
Does Emma need a new one? Not that I can tell.
Do I want to replace it anyway? Of course I do.
Should I probably leave well-enough alone, considering my past?
Almost certainly.
