I Don't Know About This, Guys...
So I got that heat shield stick-em today... and like... it's exactly what they advertised.

The real problem is the adhesive. While the Kilmats have kind of a butyl, almost tarry adhesive, these have... adhesive.
The 'virtually' in "Installs Virtually Anywhere" is doing a lot of work here.

Yeah, it's not great. I'm concerned it won't stick permanently. I'm going to leave it in place and put the Kilmat over the top. If I tesselate and overlap those enough, it should hold these in place.
Still. If it keeps down even a fraction of the enormous heat generated by that Ford 289, then it's worth the trouble.

I'll measure, cut, and do the same to the Drinker's side - and then Kilmats. I'm not gonna have enough for the hump - but I'm also not impressed enough with it to warrant another $50 in sort-of-sticky-heat-shielding.
Fingers crossed!
